TALENT POLICY
PAGE
Cline Entertainment prides
ourselves on booking quality background talent for our clients,
(the production companies) of television, movies, commercials, etc.
Here is our background talent policy that we abide by and
require our talent to do the same.
BACKGROUND WORK IS A JOB.
When talent is booked
for work with Cline Entertainment, we require the
following:
 |
|
1)
Keep your word with us. When we book
you, we are giving the job to you. If you do not plan on
keeping your job, please let us give it to someone
else. |
2)
If you need to cancel, you need to do so as soon as
possible, and at least 24 hrs in advance, with a legitimate reason.
Keep in mind, we have been in this business ourselves, so
we have already heard all the stories.
3)
If you are going to be more then 10 minutes late to set, call the emergency number you were
given to notify us.
4)
Show up camera ready at all times. Bringing and
wearing the proper wardrobe specified when booked, makes everyone's
day easier. Professionalism gets you
farther and is always noted.
5)
Know where you are going before you commit to a
project. We always state before booking talent
where a project is working. If a project is too far for you to
drive, then please do not take the job. We do not expect talent to
take every job we offer. There will be others in the
future. Please do not commit if you will not, or do not plan
on showing for work.
6)
We can not accept last minute
cancellations.
A call at 11pm the
night before a shoot to tell us you did not realize it was that
far away, is not a valid reason to cancel the job. The
person you call will probably be the person who booked you, so they
will know exactly what was told to you over the phone.
Talent that do this will be deleted from our
database.
7) Always assume that you
will be on set for at least 15 hours. Do not book a job if you can not commit to the entire
day and night. We do not know, nor does production, how long you
will be on set. The longer you work, the more you get paid. If you
have another job to go to on the day of a shoot, do
not take that booking with us. We will not let you
leave set to go to your other job.
8) Please get
enough sleep the night before the shoot. On set is not a
place to sleep. You can do that at home.
9)
When you are on set, there is "set etiquette."
Undesirable behavior is not allowed on our set. This includes
fighting, violence, theft, abuse, destruction of property,
etc. People who are acting in these ways will be asked to
leave, and removed from set without pay. The law does not state
that production has to pay talent for a full day of work under
adverse conduct by talent.
10) Please respect
the actors on set. These principal actors are to be treated
with professionalism. Approaching them and asking for autographs or
photos is not allowed. Do not bring cameras to set to take photos of
the actors. Set is their place of employment, and they are trying to
work.
11)
Smoking will be in designated areas only.
Cigarettes are the only smokes we allow on set. If you are
doing drugs on set, or come to set under the influence of and drugs
or alcohol, you will be removed from set without pay,
and authorities may be called.
ALWAYS REMEMBER:
RELIABILITY
AND YOUR WORD are key in this industry. Talent that
arrive on time, show up camera ready, pay attention and do a
good job go to the top of our list for work in the future.
Booking talent like this, just makes our job easier.
